A. Lange & Söhne 1815 CHRONOGRAPH as a boutique special - blue on silver

The 1815 CHRONOGRAPH presents itself in an exclusive case-dial combination at this year's Asian watchmaker's watch & wonders. The special model in white gold is characterized by blue figures and a pulseometer scale. It is only available in the world wide 15 boutiques of A. Lange & Söhne.

Since 2010 the 1815 CHRONOGRAPH stands for the ideal combination of classical design and advanced technology. The dial is reminiscent of the coveted pocket watches by A. Lange & Söhne with its Arabic numerals and the "Chemin de fer" miniature. On the occasion of the 200th birthday of Ferdinand Adolph Lange, who made Saxony a center of precision watchmaking in the 19th century, the traditional manufactory presents a special edition of the chronograph.

The deep blue printed, argenté dial of solid silver is provided on the outer ring with a revolving pulsometer scale. They can be used to determine the pulse rate. To do this, you stop the time that passes, while you count 30 pulse rates. Via the chrono center pointer, the frequency can be directly read off on a scale in beats per minute. The color combination of the dial is reflected in the pointer material: hour and minute hands are made of rhodium-plated gold. Chrono center hands, minute counters and small seconds hand are made of blued steel.

The chronograph caliber L951.5 is equipped with column gear, step worm for the exact jumping minut counter and convenient flyback function. It has a 60 hours' reserve. A large eccentric balance, which is driven by a free-swinging balancing coil from our own production, provides for best performance.
